According to a presentation that has been posted online [PDF] Ron Garriques president of mobile devices recently has announced soons the launch of 3G versions of a number of popular models. Even though the new models is still not scheduled to ship, it has made a very real impact on the investors As expected, many of Motorola's upcoming announcements will be 3G handsets. As previously said, the phones announced by Ron Garriques are 3G versions of handsets:

Garriques introducing the high end SCPL platform. We're still waiting on the new pricing and availability.
